HEART TRAP
VILLAGE’S STREET – DAY
The beginning of the 20th century.
A small village. All houses are small.
Rose (7 years old, blonde) and Adam (8 years old, black hair) running around the street and laughing.
Rose stops and looks at Adam.
Adam comes to Rose.
ROSE
– Adam, will you come to my birthday?
ADAM
– No, Rose, this is you coming to my birthday!
ROSE
– I’ll think about that, Adam.
ADAM
– Rose, let’s never quarrel? We will always be together!
Rose and Adam walk down the street.
ROSE
– You’re coming to my
birthday party, right?
ADAM
– I owe you a gift to make! I’ll be right there.
Adam runs away.
INT.ADAM’S HOUSE – DAY
Adam runs into his house.
INT.KITCHEN – DAY
Adam runs up to his mother.
Mom stands by the stove and cooks something.
ADAM
– Mom, have you seen my golden stone?
Adam runs away.
INT.STAIRS – DAY
Adam climbs the stairs to the second floor.
INT.ADAM’S ROOM
Adam runs into his room, opens the casket
and takes out a gold stone.
INT.ROSE’S HOUSE – DAY
In Rose’s house there is a big holiday, the
table is set for a festive dinner, many guests in the living room.
Rose in a beautiful dress on the floor pours beautiful stones.
Two girls – Sarah and Brooke are standing near Roses and looking at the stones.
SARAH
– Did someone give it to you?
ROSE
– This is my mother gave me!
BROOKE
– And what else did your mother give you?
Adam goes up to Rose.
ADAM
– Rose, I brought you something! Look!
Adam shows Rose a golden stone.
Rose is happy looking at the stone in Adam’s hand.
ADAM
– Come on, take this, it’s for you!
Rose takes a gold stone in her hands and picks it up.
BROOKE
– Wow, what a beautiful one!
INT.STREET – DAY
The car stops near the house of Rose.
The back door of the car opens and comes out Adam.
Adam runs to the door of the house, runs into the house.
INT.ROSA’S HOUSE – DAY
Mama Rose – Anna looks at Adam.
ADAM
– Where is the Rose? Should I say goodbye to her?
Rose runs up and looks at Adam.
Rose embraces Adam, Adam hugs Rose.
ADAM
– Goodbye!
Adam runs away.
Rose tells her mother.
ROSE
– I will never have a friend like him again.
INT. HOTEL – NIGHT
Rose grew up, now she is 18.
Great hotel.
The window on the second floor of the hotel opens and Rose looks at the moon.
Rose leaves the window and lies down on the bed.
In the room her mother comes in – Anna.
ANNA
– Tomorrow will be a lot of guests, I want you to help me!
ROSE
– Who’s coming tomorrow?
ANNA
– I do not know, but it does not matter!
INT.MOUNTAIN – DAY
Rose climbs the mountain to the very top and sees a large palace in the lowland.
ROSE
– Where is he from here?
Before, it was not!
The rose descends into the lowlands and comes closer to the palace.
Rose opens the front door of the palace and goes inside.
INT.PALACE – DAY
She climbs the stairs.
The rose appears in the window of the uppermost floor.
Rose goes down the stairs and goes to the exit. Rose tries to open the door.
The door does not open. Rose looks at the door, frightened. The door opens itself.
Rose runs out of the palace.
INT. HOTEL – DAY
Rose enters the hotel.
Anna approaches her.
ANNA
– Rose, go quickly wash and change your clothes, you need to meet guests.
They’ll be here soon!
ROSE
– Mom, I’m right now.
Rose runs away.
