Claudia Wendt schreibt über Manga und Anime und begann die Reihe zum Thema Mangazeichner und ihrer Werke. Sie sammelt selbst Manga und stieß öfter auf das Problem, herauszufinden, was von welchem Künstler erschien und gibt mit diesem Buch einen Überblick über Masamune Shirow und sein Werk. Den Anfang machte das Buch über das Werk von Katsuhiro Otomo.
