“You can’t make that kind of promise, Mitch.”
Daisy ran a hand over her porch railing. “I might have to sell. There isn’t a big real estate market in Rebel, Oklahoma. Moving forward, I have to be practical.”
“Everything we’ve done in the last few weeks has been successful, Daisy. You can’t give up now. We only have four weeks left.”
She hung her head and closed her eyes. At the moment she had neither the energy nor desire to discuss the topic further. “Life should come with one or two guarantees, shouldn’t it?” she murmured.
“Hey, hey, I’m sorry.” Suddenly Mitch was at her side with an arm around her shoulder. “I didn’t mean to stress you out.”
When Daisy met his gaze, he was close enough to see the dark flecks in her blue eyes. Time stood still between them and for a moment he allowed himself to imagine the impossible. That somehow, some way he could have a future with someone like her...
I’m delighted to begin a new series set in the fictional town of Rebel, Oklahoma. Once a working cattle ranch, Rebel Ranch is now a guest ranch owned by the Rainbolt siblings, Mitchell, Reece, Tucker and Kate.
The first book in this series introduces us to Rebel police chief Mitch Rainbolt and outspoken officer Daisy Anderson. This is a story of heartaches and hope. Like Mitch and Daisy, we too must turn our burdens over to the Lord and receive the healing power of His love.
One of my favorite parts of starting a new series is creating the lovable secondary characters who occupy the pages and our hearts. I hope you enjoy this fun and heartwarming story as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Please do email me and let me know your thoughts. I can be reached through my website, www.tinaradcliffe.com, where you can also find some of the recipes mentioned in the series.
Sincerely,
Tina Radcliffe

This first Rebel Ranch book is dedicated to my father, Joseph P. Russo. When I was a young child, he opened up the world of books by reading aloud tales that swept me away to imaginary lands. It was this love of the written word that made me dare to think
