There is inheritance in this chart. Hopefully no one has to actually die. Perhaps you are named in someone’s will or appointed to some administrative position in an estate.
The year ahead also appears good for paying down debt or for taking on loans – depending on your need. Most of you will have increases in your line of credit. You have easier access to outside capital. If you have good ideas, this is a good year (from August 11 onwards) to attract financial backing.
If you are involved in estates or insurance claims, there is good fortune from August 11 onwards.

Saturn, your career planet, shifts back and forth between two signs this year – it zigzags. And this pretty much describes the career. Until June 15 Saturn will be in Sagittarius, your 9th house. This shows success and elevation, and expanded career horizons. It indicates career opportunities in foreign lands or with foreign companies. (There are job opportunities in foreign lands too, after August 11.) It also shows increased business-related travel. In fact, your willingness to travel is important in your career advancement.
With Pluto stuck in your 10th house of career for many years now, there are dramas with bosses and people involved in your career. They could be having surgery, or near-death kinds of experiences. Perhaps you are having career ‘near-death’ experiences. Always keep in mind that after ‘death’ comes ‘resurrection’. The career will be renewed.
Love and Social Life
Your 7th house of love is not a house of power this year, and this indicates that things will tend to remain the same. Married couples tend to stay married and singles tend to stay single.
With the 7th house basically empty (only the short-terms planets will move through there in the year ahead) there could be a tendency to ignore the love life, to not give it the attention it deserves. This would be a mistake. For as we mentioned this area of life brings great fulfilment in the year ahead. You have to force yourself to pay attention here even when you don’t feel like it.
If you are single, working towards your first marriage, you are probably happy staying single. Marriage is not seen here. However, there are hot love affairs happening. You might not marry, but there is no shortage of love. June and July seems especially active in this department.
If you are working towards your second marriage there will be an opportunity in June and July, but I’m not so sure that this will lead to marriage. It would be best not to rush into anything. Let love develop naturally.
If you are working towards your third marriage, romance (and perhaps even marriage) is in the air. It could have happened last year, but if not, the year ahead (especially until August 11) is excellent.
One of the challenges in love is Uranus in your 1st house. We have written about this in previous years but the trend is still very much in effect. Uranus in the 1st house gives a passion for personal freedom. Freedom trumps relationships. A committed relationship is, by definition, a limitation of personal freedom and this is the problem. The ideal lover is someone who will give you lots of space, lots of freedom, within the relationship.
Those involved with an Aries in a romantic way should take note. Give your Aries lover as much freedom as possible so long as it isn’t destructive. Try doing unconventional, zany things together. Try being friends with your Aries lover, not just a lover. With Uranus in their 1st house, Aries is into friendship these days. They are comfortable in that role.
In that department – friendships – the year ahead seems very happy and active. Friends seek you out, there is nothing much that you need to do. You seem very involved with groups and group activities – these too seek you out. New and important friendships are happening this year (and this was so last year too).
Parents and parent figures are having a static, stable love year.
Children or children figures of the appropriate age experience serious love this year. If they are single they could get married, or have a relationship that is ‘like’ a marriage. Grandchildren of an appropriate age also find love this year.
Siblings and sibling figures are having their relationships tested this year. If they are single they are not likely to marry.

Self-improvement
Saturn has been in your 8th house of transformation and regeneration for two years now and spends another few months there in the year ahead. Whatever your age and stage in life, your libido has not been up to its usual standard. From the astrological perspective this is not so much a health issue, more of a cosmic one. The cosmos has been putting the sexual life into right order. If sexual expression has been too low, Saturn increased it. If it has been too much (which is usually the case) Saturn clamped down on it. Sex in many ways is like eating. We need to eat enough – not too much, not too little, just the right amount. Many of you have learned that quality sex is better (and healthier) than mere quantity. Better less sex but good sex than hosts of mediocre experiences.
Saturn will spend most of the coming year in your 9th house of religion, philosophy and higher education. For college students this indicates a need to buckle down and work hard. There are no free rides this year. Focus on your studies. Do the work that is needed. Bear down. Non-students will have their religious and philosophical beliefs tested, as we have mentioned. Your belief system is getting a reality check. Many of us are holding beliefs that are just not correct. Many of us look at the world in a false way and attribute meanings to phenomena that aren’t so. This is a year where you learn about this. Generally reality checks are not pleasant, but great good will come of it. As you let go of false, or only partially true, beliefs, new and better ones will come in. And the whole life will improve because of that.
Philosophy, as we have mentioned many times, is much more important than psychology. A person’s philosophy will shape and mould the psychology. Philosophy is cause, psychology is effect. So what’s going on now (and for the next two years), is very important.
Aries generally have a strong sense of self-esteem. But lately, with the Moon’s south node in your 1st house, your self-esteem has not been what it should. There is a feeling of deficiency here. Often when this happens, people over-compensate and become over-bearing and excessively arrogant. Avoid this trap like the plague. There is a correct way to attain healthy self-esteem. This is by recognizing that you are a son or daughter of the Most High – an immortal spiritual being incarnated in a body. You are not your body or personality, but the being that uses these things for its own purposes. A good meditation for this is, ‘I AM AN IMMORTAL BEING OF LIGHT, I AM ONE WITH GOD, IN PERFECT UNION AND HARMONY WITH THE UNIVERSE.’
Repeat this a few times a day to yourself, and especially when you feel low. The more time you spend with this meditation, the better.
