the impact necessary forcing the ball to cross the obstacle?

      Do you feel the weight of the putter

      shoving the ball?

      Can you reduce the strong impact and still put sucessfully?

      # 5 Taking aim at

      Aiming at a certain target with a firearm,

      you will aim by using notch and bead.

      So we will go for the hole using a gate of two tees and the ball with a straight line on it.

      To help us aim the right way we place the ball on a CD with its marks.

      Now get your eyes almost above your golfer´s gun and fire away.

      Sink this put

      Can you see your eyes reflected in the CD? Do you see the target line clearly?

      Close your eyes, relax and imagine hole and ball in one line. Now exhale and “swing gently”.

      

      # 6 Pass through the gates and put out

      On the putting green we stick four or more tees to form gates

      of two, it´s the alley way to the hole.

      The gates may differ in width, but the ball should pass through.

      Choose a certain distance away from the hole and start a distance

      not too far from the cup.

      Take aim and put out without touching the gates.

      Do you feel grounded in your stand, move your feet apart to relax,

      Try to hold the putter lightly , just feel the grip loosen.

      What do you feel in swinging squarely?

      # 7 In the distance

      On the putting green we remove those small convenient flags to take the ball out of the cup.

      We decide the first dictance from the hole to put out, say half a yard,

      now we double the distance for the second ball , and double again for the third.

      Look at it and decide. Will you put out all of them?

      Of course can you raise the distance or the number of balls.

      But uneasiness will rise too.

      Feel the challenge fade with the first ball put out successfully, but also a rise of emotion when going for the second or third. Do not give way to doubt,

      you will master it.
