Дайсона – 12 По поводу конструкции Сферы. – Предлагая в 1960 году свою гипотетическую Сферу, американский ученый Ф. Дайсон не рассматривал вопрос о ее конструкции и практической осуществимости. Позже появились работы по исследованию прочности такого сооружения. В. Д. Давыдовым было доказано, что в материальной Сфере, окружающей Солнце, действуют силы, неизбежно приводящие к ее разрушению. Русскому ученому Г. И. Покровскому удалось найти заведомо устойчивый вариант Сферы Дайсона, представляющий собой совокупность окружающих Солнце колец (так называемая Раковина Покровского).
