Intro
I'm a quiet person on the outside but in the inside I never shut up. If you were left alone with my thoughts for five minutes you would go crazy. That's the main reason I decided to become a writer. To put it simply, some things just shouldn't be said aloud, but you can write it.
Midnight Ramblings
I'm not sure what I'm doing or where I'm going, but surely there's a path for everyone. I haven't found mine yet, but if I give up now I never will.
I have fallen, and I have cried.
I have been tired and I have been stressed.
I've hit rock bottom and thought there was no return, but someway somehow I returned back to the path I never thought I had.
First Heartbreak
It came in like a cold.
I didn't expect to catch it but I did. I felt the symptoms and did nothing to stop it.
This is part of life, part of growing up, part of experiencing.
Taking the ugly with the beautiful; the bad with the good.
The feeling was foreign. It was my first time going through something so painful, so unfair.
I'm not sure who suffered more, my mind or my heart. My mind knew better but my heart was too insecure.
The Boy In The Cemetery
Every Sunday I went to my Grandmother’s house to visit.
There’s no such thing as perfect, but she was the closest
thing to it in my eyes.
No matter what any of my family members did she was always there for us, she never turned her back. We could’ve committed a murder and she’d still defend us until her last breath.
Two years later and I still visit her every Sunday, the only difference is I can’t see her; I can feel her presence though.
I smile sadly as I lay violet flowers on her grave.
“I miss you more and more each day.”
There’s a boy a few inches over crying his eyes out. My heart aches for the stranger, losing someone you love is never easy. You don’t get over it, you just learn to live with it. I continue my Sunday routine, the boy continues his as well. One day I decided to speak to him.
“Hello.” He looks at me with a shocked expression.
“H-hi.”
“I’ve noticed you come here every Sunday.”
