4 cups potatoes
4 slices turkey bacon
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 Tbsp whole-wheat flour
1 cup water
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 1/2 Tbsp Splenda
1/16 tsp black pepper
Peel and dice the potatoes; place in boiling water. Cook until just soft. Fry bacon in a large skillet until crisp; remove and drain. Place the onions in the skillet and cook until tender. Slowly stir in flour; blend well. Add water and vinegar; cook, stirring, until bubbly and slightly thick. Stir in Splenda and pepper; simmer for 10 minutes. Crumble bacon. 1. Combine bouillon and water in a small bowl to form a broth; set aside.
