Worship That Touches the Heart of God

the Ark of the Covenant. Although this pattern of worship is eternal and cannot be contained in an era of time, the fullness of time changes its dimensions. We have now received that fullness of God’s grace through Jesus Christ. That principle alone changes the dynamics of everything concerning how worship manifests. Therefore, we can expect to see God’s glory manifesting in inexplicable ways that exceed our former experiences.

As great as the glory was in the Old Mosaic Tabernacle, it could not be compared to the experiences of David and his Levitical priesthood. Greater still, how much more glory is for our day than for all the days of David? God is waiting to meet with us today, and forever to manifest Himself in our worship! O how gracious is God to make us His tabernacles to fill us with the glory of His presence!

      Three Dimensions of Worship

      A Three Dimensional Worship

All things concerning David’s pattern of worship has three tiers, levels, or dimensions depending on the category, thus you will see a progression of three eras concerning the priestly role. There is a noticeable increase with each successive period of time.

Priestly Function: 1) Mosaic era, only the high priest ministered to God, 2) Davidic era, the Levites were included with the high priest, and 3) Today all of us are priests.

Tabernacles: 1) One Mosaic Tabernacle, 2) Two Davidic Tabernacles, and 3) Today, all of us have a Tabernacle within.

The Manifested Presence and Glory of God: 1) Mosaic era, at the Tabernacle, 2) Davidic era, inside the tent and the Old Mosaic Tabernacle, and 3) Today, the glory is inside us with outward manifestations.

Davidic Pattern Operates: 1) In our lifestyle: internally – how we think; externally – our personal devotional time, 2) In our songs: personal devotional time and collectively, and 3) In the physical activations of a Davidic Worship setting.

In January 2014 God gave me a sequel dream to the priestly office and the blood. Following are the details of this dream.

A Dream of Three Levels of Davidic Worship

A pastor invited Bobby and I for a tour of his church facility. The floor plan of this church was very unusual with the ceiling, floor, and walls in pristine white. As we waited for the service to begin on this main floor, the pastor was talking to us about worship when music began playing and the people began worshiping, yet I saw no band or worship team. Music just seemed to come from nowhere to permeate the atmosphere. As worship continued, some of the people began walking up a huge staircase that was built against the wall and curved around the sanctuary. I had not noticed this staircase until now, but it too was pristine white decorated with iron hand rails. I stood there amazed and wondered why we couldn’t see the second floor from here because everything was so open. The pastor went on to explain that the people were going up to the second floor where worship would intensify. Although we did not go up, I just knew by the Spirit that the worship there was different from the first floor. He further explained that as worship continued, the people could choose to ascend to the third floor where it would climax. He said that after worship ended at this third level, there was a staircase that took them outside and they never returned to the first floor to leave the facilities. Strangely though, I could not actually see the exiting staircase, yet by the Spirit I saw it going down the right side of the building.

It was not said, but there was a knowing in my spirit, that some people did not desire to ascend to the second level, and those that did, did not necessarily go to the third level. Each one had the choice of how high they chose to go, but those that went to the third floor never left the same way they came. No one was criticized for the level of worship they chose to do.

We remained on this first floor as the pastor continued to explain the layout and as the others were ascending in worship. On this first floor, the height of the ceiling was about as tall as a two-story building. There were no chairs, no musical instruments, or any other tangible items; without the people, there would be nothing in this room. Yet the room did not seem empty, it was filled with a tangible life, like the room itself breathed, and we could feel the physical presence of God. As the pastor continued to talk, I started walking around the room worshiping for a little while, then the Holy Ghost came upon me and I began dancing. As I have done so many times before in my dreams, I felt my feet leave the floor and I ascended in worship far above Bobby and the pastor, dancing and twirling before the Lord. I could clearly hear the pastor talking about this worship even though I was at the top of this room. I was not the only one worshiping, yet I was too caught up in twirling, dancing, and rejoicing before the Lord to notice what they were doing. In the spirit, I knew this was Davidic Worship and I was so happy knowing that they were ministering to God, but mostly I was ecstatic about dancing before the Lord!

Explanation of the Dream of the Three Levels of Davidic Worship

After I was awake, I knew that this pastor was none other than Jesus Christ himself, and that this place I was in, was in the spirit. In God everything lives and everything breathes. Although this place was empty of tangible items, it was full with the presence of God – and we were only experiencing the first level of worship. I could plainly see that others had gone into higher realms than I had ever known, yet I felt no jealousy for those going higher. I did, however, want to go there. My curiosity was aroused and my desire for more was increased.

The Heights of the First Level

I have had quite a few dreams of ascending in high worship as this dream depicts. (High worship, or high praise, is a very intense and sustaining worship. It comes from people who are hungry and are intensely seeking God, not for what they can get, but for God Himself. In dreams high worship manifests by your feet being off the floor while in worship.) David sang in Psalms 149:5-6, “Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand.” David knew about singing upon the bed and the high praises being in our mouth and perhaps he experienced this in his dreams as well.

In some dreams of ascending in high worship, I am an inch, two to three inches, a foot, just above the people’s heads, just above the people’s reach, and at other times, twenty feet or thirty feet off the floor. As I am dreaming, I do feel the thrust of being in the spirit; and I feel the holiness of God here in this place. By this I know that we can worship at various heights even in the first level.

For a long time when I experienced this in my sleep, I didn’t know that it was Davidic Worship; nor did I realize that I was dancing with the Holy Ghost. There is a lot of twirling and spinning when this dance occurs in the spirit, and in some of the dreams I could, at will, turn my feet and determine the speed at which I twirled. In the natural, I am not sure what it really looks like, I just know what it looks like in my dreams.

In some of these dreams, I come down from high worship to minister to people and do demonic deliverances. In some, I have seen my feet like a deer that had the ability to walk on any rough terrain. Other dreams, my worship became my warfare. Thus, in most things about Davidic Worship there are three elements involved.

      Three Parts

This high worship has three different areas that it targets, but within these three areas, we have our part and God has His.

Our Part: 1) First we worship purely for His pleasure and delight, 2) Our worship is warfare against God’s enemies, and 3) Our worship reveals the hearts and needs of the people for ministry to them.

God’s Benefits and Rewards: 1) First, as we worship because of our delight in Him, He will elevate us into His presence for His own good pleasure, 2) In our warfare worship He will do any one of these three things: be our defense, fight our battles for us, or lift us far above our enemies, 3) He may use us to bring healing and deliverance to His people or do it Himself as we are in worship.

Even though I have had many dreams, visions, and experiences, I know that I have not seen the second or third levels. God is still saying to me that nothing compares to what He is about to reveal
