      Matth 10,42

      Warning against offences.

      (Matt. 18,6-9; Luke 17,1.2)

      Mark 9,42 And whoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a great millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

      Mark 9,43 And if your hand offend you, cut it off! It is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into Gehenna, into the fire that never shall be quenched.

      Matth 5,30

      Mark 9,44 Where the worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.

      Mark 9,45 And if your foot offend you, cut it off! It is better for you to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into the Gehenna, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

      Mark 9,46 Where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.

      Mark 9,47 And if your eye offend you, pluck it out: it is better for you to enter into the kingdom of YAHWEH with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into Gehenna:

      Mark 9,48 where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched.

      Mark 9,49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

      Chapter 10

      Of dissolution of marriage.

      Mark 10,1 And he arose from there, and comes into the borders of Judaea by the farther side of Jordan: and the people resort to him again; and, as he was wont, he taught them again.

      Mark 10,2 Pharisees came to him, and asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife? testing him.

      Mark 10,3 And he answered and said to them, What did Moses command you?

      Mark 10,4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement, and to put her away.

      Mark 10,5 And Yahshua answered and said to them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this commandment!

      Mark 10,6 But from the beginning of the creation Elohim made them male and female.

      Genesis 1,27

      Mark 10,7 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave (be joined) to his wife;

      Genesis 2,24

      Mark 10,8 And they two shall be one flesh: so then they are no more two, but one flesh.

      Mark 10,9 What therefore YAHWEH has joined together, let not man put asunder.

      Mark 10,10 And in the house his disciples asked him again of the same matter.

      Mark 10,11 And he said to them, Whoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, commits adultery against her.

      Luke 16,18; 1 Cor. 7,10.11

      Mark 10,12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and marry another, she commits adultery.

      Mark 10,13 And they brought young children to him, that he should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them.

      Mark 10,14 But when Yahshua saw it, he was much displeased, and said to them, Suffer (Allow) the little children to come to me, and forbid them not: for such is the kingdom of YAHWEH.

      Mark 10,15 Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of YAHWEH as a little child, he shall not enter therein!

      Matth 18,3

      Mark 10,16 And he took them up in his arms, put his hands upon them, and blessed them.

      The rich youth.

      (Matt. 19,16-26; Luke 18,18-27)

      Mark 10,17 And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?

      Mark 10,18 And Yahshua said to him, Why call me good? there is none good but one, that is YAHWEH.

      Mark 10,19 You know the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honor your father and mother.

      Exodus 20,12-17

      Mark 10,20 And he answered and said to him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth.

      Mark 10,21 Then Yahshua beholding him loved him, and said to him, One thing you lack: go your way, sell whatever you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross*, and follow me.

      * note: follow the Master Yahshua in obedience, as he walked, means also: the sacrifice of Yahshua applies to all of mankind, another sacrifice is not necessary and also meaningless:

      Hebrew 9:12; 10:10; 6:12

      Mark 10,22 And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.

      Mark 10,23 And Yahshua looked round about, and said to his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of YAHWEH!

      Mark 10,24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Yahshua answered again, and said to them, Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of YAHWEH!

      Ps 62,11; 1 Tim. 6,17

      Mark 10,25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of YAHWEH.

      Mark 10,26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

      Mark 10,27 And Yahshua looking upon them said, With men it is impossible, but not with Elohim: for with Elohim all things are possible.

      Of the reward of succession.

      (Matt. 19,27-30; Luke 18,28-30)

      Mark 10,28 Then Peter began to say to him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed you.

      Mark 10,29 And Yahshua answered and said, Truly I say to you, There is no man that has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the good tiding’s,

      Mark 10,30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

      Mark 10,31 But many that are first shall be last; and the last first.

      Third announcement of suffering.

      (Matt. 20,17-19; Luke 18,31-34)

      Mark 10,32 And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem; and Yahshua went before them: and they were amazed; and as they followed, they were afraid. And he took again the twelve, and began to tell them what things should happen to him,

      Mark 10,33 Saying, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered to the chief priests, and to the scribes; and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him to the nations:

      Mark 10,34 And they shall mock him,
