Brief Introduction
I was born King David, yet I didn't know that until I received a revelation from God back in the mid 1990's.
"He" took me through a long and difficult journey, in which I've grown stronger as a result.
Moreover.....
God is giving me the opportunity to reach out to the world in this avenue.
The following chapters are in chronological order at best, written from October 9, 2017 to February 27, 2018.
A Dream Come True
Someday.
Isaiah 65:17 The Stone Edition "For behold, I am creating new heavens and a new earth; the former [events] will no longer be recalled and will not be taken to heart."
Harmony
Balance is the key. When you have kicked the football, you have done it for yourself and for the team. When you have written that cheque, you have done it with need. When you visit your aunt, it is for the connection.
Serenity
In the coming of days is the beginning of Wisdom.
Clarity
Keep your mind active as much as possible or you will leave yourself muddled. If Stephen Hawking can keep himself going, then it won't hurt to dabble.
There is so much out there you can choose from. Aside from reading paperback books or writing poems, play some mind games every now and then. You can find quite a few under internet search.
There are also numerous board games out there, from Apples 2 Apples to ZÈRTZ.
Perhaps you think you've finished your schooling? Take an adult education class or a workshop and pick something you may want to try.
Even in Heaven, there is no time for sleepyhead. And I will have to keep my arse on rev.
Racism
The Siamese cat scratched the tabby's coat to get rid of that fur ball. The Laotian farmer went outside to tend to his goats, but kissed his wife from Lhasa first. The Great Dane went up to the pen to watch his master feed the pigs tomatoes. The ex-Klansman from America sat amongst the Himban tribe in Nambia and told them about his football (soccer) playing days during middle school. A Jewish family that lived in a remote area in Saskatchewan enrolled their daughter at the local high school where the students asked what her favourite Hebrew music was. She replied, "It's like yours, and I think Taylor Swift is so fresh."
At last, the Scops owl sat by her nest and sang a quiet lullaby eying the leopard, asleep and dreaming of chasing that strange aardvark back to its burrow.
My Scribbling Attempt
It is the reason. It is the season. The endless days and the dawn awakening with the flowers blooming.
I guess I can only try and paint.
Ronaldo kicks it in. Paul & Joanne stood by the Acropolis.
...and the hummingbird chirped glory here and so-so there. It's raining again in Copenhagen.
Lost
It was a miniseries based in the United States.
The show's premise inexplicably suggested the framework of society here on earth. The characters were faced with never-ending riddles, which left me piqued complete.
If you haven't seen it, all 118 episodes are worth watching. It may take you a year, more or less to finish, yet I wouldn't resist. However, if you feel that's too taxing, then at least try the first few episodes of the final season.
Listening To Music
It's time to dance, and you can play your favourite tunes forever. From pop to bluegrass, from rock to jazz and from classical to new age, feel free to choose.
You can always learn an instrument too. You don't have to be Jimi Hendrix, and he would tell you to do it for fun. With practice, you may end up playing in front of an audience and know it's a great feeling.
One of these days, Janis Joplin will sing for you and tell you the truth about the harpist perched on the cloud. She is doing it because she loves it and she says "No it isn't for you, as you would rather listen to country."
Superiority / Inferiority
The belief that anyone is better than or beneath another is wrong.
The truth is that God knows us completely, from the smallest of gnats to the largest of elephants. And love has no measurements.
...and the rain forests will return, with the corrupt industries sliding away.
Do all wise to help others, and not belittle or deprive of.
Hooliganism
A baseball championship game was played in Los Angeles yesterday, and there was joy and sadness. Most importantly, it was played fairly.
To the players: Sport is to be enjoyed fully and it comes with victory and defeat, and that's part of the fun of competition. It's a game and it will be played again the next day, yet embrace the now, and live it fully.
To the watchers: Cheer for your favourite squad, and if they lose or win, so be it. It is mere entertainment, to be appreciated for all eternity.
God promised athletics for all to watch, but if you're one who jeers or fights, then you will have to find something else to do. The coach and players are doing the best they can, so give them credit even when they struggle.
No one is perfect, even Muhammad Ali. "I'm young; I'm handsome; I'm fast. I can't possibly be beat." He eventually lost to Joe Frazier! "A man who views the world the same at 50 as he did at 20 has wasted 30 years of his life.”
Meanwhile, Ali still kind of thinks he's the best, but is more focused on other things now. He points out that life is better when you can just have a good time and not worry about it. He wants to go bowling, maybe bicycling and play some softball too. He agrees that boxing should not permitted as it's a hurtful sport. He also wants injustice out of the way, is angry at corruption, and thinks people should get a grip and improve their ways.
Poker
The "sport" is one of my favourites and I urge you all to give it a try.
I would be careful about playing at licensed card rooms because the advantage is theirs, and if you lose what you pay for, you will end up finding yourself paying more until there is a cap.
If you play with your friends, I would recommend no more than maybe £30 per week. Some of you may not want to get involved as often, so perhaps a £50 to £100 buy-in every 6 to 8 weeks? From there, you can decide whether or not to play a tournament.
As for me, I need to teach Sir Trump a thing or two about the meaning of Las Vegas. Perhaps someday? I don't know. Casinos forever? Yes, and we all need to indulge every now and then.
Reward And Punishment
The boy is sent to his bedroom early for bullying his sister. The employee is given a raise for her good work at the corporation.
Is the boy being punished? The parents may think so, or perhaps to learn a lesson? Is the employee being rewarded, or merely deserving of the raise?
