Know Who You Are and to Whom You Belong

Psalms 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

It doesn't matter where in life you find yourself; you are not alive because of some circumstances, misfortune, elements of nature, or evolution. But in reality, you are here because of a God who went ahead of time and carefully planned your arrival. He perfectly formed you out of the dust of the Earth. (Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul). He put mankind under His divine microscope and perfectly wired every cell, blood vessel, organ, and nerves making sure there weren’t any flaws or mistakes. He then blew his breath into man, and man became a living soul completely fashioned in God’s image and likeness. (Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created he him; male and female created he them).

The Lord even plans where each person on earth will live and work; just as a woman who is pregnant would make sure she has all the necessary things such as clothing, shelter, a place to sleep, and an environment that is conducive for her child to receive the love and attention that it needs, both physical and spiritual. In the same way, God plans for you and me to have all the necessities to enhance spiritual and physical growth.

Scripture tells us that in the beginning, chaos or darkness was upon the face of the earth (Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters). And because the Lord knew that we were unable to help ourselves,so He went ahead of time and caused His Spirit to move over the face of the water and after surveying the situation He spoke his word and put everything into its rightful place. He separated element and matter, day from night, the sea from the land, the mountain from the valley; He placed the sun, moon, and stars in the Heavens. All of this work was so that man would have peace, comfort, and receive His love and attention.

When man was created, all the structure that was foundational for his existence was already in place in an orderly manner because God is not the author of confusion He make sure that nothing was out of its place and that everything that was created function as they should (1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints).

Soon after man’s creation, the Lord placed him in a paradise home which was called the Garden of Eden. (Genesis 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.) According to scripture, the garden had everything that was necessary for man’s survival. Adam had it all; he lacked nothing. The Lord gave Adam the Garden of Eden and told him it belonged to him, but he had to do everything in his power to dress and keep it in that state (Genesis 2:15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it).The Lord gave Adam all the revelation needed for him to remain in authority in his own home. But in order to remain in this authority, he has to obey and abide by the rules and guide lines set by the Lord. He (Adam) had all the truth that was needed for him to remain in peace and freedom. Some may say, what you don’t know cannot hurt you. But that is a lie from hell; you will only be able to protect yourself from what you know.

       Know Your Enemies

So, now you understand who made all of creation; the Earth, the Heavens, and everything within. Let us go deeper and find out who our enemies are.

First of all, there are two worlds we have to navigate in this life:one is the natural world, which looks more real and can be seen with our physical eyes, and the other is the spiritual world, which cannot be seen with our physical eyes yet it is more real than the natural world. (2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal).

I already mentioned that God created the Heavens and the earth. The earth was for the man to dwell in, although the man was a spiritual being the Lord gave him a physical body so that he could co-exist in the natural earth, yet still able to live and walk according to the spirit.

God also created other beings; some that remained by His side and some who rebelled against Him and sided with Satan the father of all deceptions. These bad angels who sided with Satan continue to make war against God and his angels, and the main cause was for the man's right to exist in God. When Satan was kicked out of Heaven, he was stripped of his authority, and not knowing how to exist without authority; Satan was willing to settle for any authority he could get his hands on, and he decided to takeaway the authority of mankind on Earth.

Revelation 12:7-9 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Daniel 10:11-13 And he said unto me, O Daniel, a man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak unto thee, and stand upright: for unto thee am I now sent. And when he had spoken this word unto me, I stood trembling. Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

From the day Satan was cast out, he planned nothing else but to destroy and bring chaos upon everything that God had created, and humanity was at the center of it all.(1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour).

Satan's first deception was to cause man to disobey God’s command, so, he fabricated a lie from hell and went to the woman in Eden and deceived her into believing that God was hiding information from them; [1] Satan caused man to rebel against God, and because of this, man lost his dominion and authority on Earth. From this point, humanity died spiritually and only knew how to exist naturally. At that instant, Satan immediately seized the opportunity to create confusion in the life of mankind; locking humanity into captivity and taking man's authority on the Earth.

Soon after the fall of mankind, sin started slowly eating its way to the physical death of a man because God created man in three parts: spirit (mind, mental), soul (spiritual), and body (the physical aspect of man). All three parts must come together and harmonize for a man to live a balanced life.

The soul also has three parts: mind (intellect), will (choices or decision), and emotion (feelings such as anger, love, joy, etc.). The spirit has three parts: conscience, fellowship, and intuition. The body is composed of all the physical faculties that enable it to function properly. The Lord's desire is for a man to be whole in all areas of his person, but when man fell from grace,he died spiritual, cutting all fellowship with God and causing everything else to go out of balance. Only when the spirit of man unites with the Spirit of God will man ever be able to die to himself and walk in his divine purpose.

The power and authority of man were given to him by God and it can only be initiated spiritually and not naturally. In the natural, man is weak and falls prey to sin and the devil’s plots. The narrative of men's lives was always to commune and engage in fellowship with God, which would enable him to have joy and peace. As long as man continues only to live in the natural world, he will always be dominated by the evil forces of the spiritual world, which are at war with God. God gave man a body so that he would be able to
