to have a sorry face for Hazel…….and that was the last thing she wanted……but she let it go. The day she was taken to her burned house, she was unable to look at her parents’ faces since she passed out. Hazel knew very well that it was going to be gruesome, but she wanted to see her parents one last time because they were going to cover their faces during the funeral as it was not the most pleasant sight.
It was vile! She couldn’t believe their ruined faces and bodies All the burns and bruises. It completely changed the way they looked. If someone who was not extremely close to them, wouldn't be able to recognize Hazel's parents. Their whole bodies and faces was red and black. That's it. It made it even worse when she touched her mom and realized that their was still some wet blood.
She tried really hard to hold it in but she couldn’t.
“Ohhh! What did they do you! My-my beautiful mom. My handsome dad. They completely ruined you! I remember the way you used to leave the house wearing that tie that I gave you on your birthday. It would make me so happy. Even mom said it made your eyes pop. Now-I-I'll never see you again. I love you dad…..I love you mom” she said sniffling and holding her mom’s burnt hand. After a long cry beside her lifeless parents she made a promise. A promise with the most anger she ever felt!
“I vow to find that abhorrent person at all costs! I will avenge your lives. He/She will cry for mercy but…….” she said with eyes as red as blood. That day she made an oath. And she was going to full fill it!
