You are entering your period of maximum independence and personal power now. This will go on for another two months. It is time to focus on number one. Some people might consider this as ‘selfishness’, but self-interest (so long as others are not harmed) is a good thing – especially given the cycle you are in right now. As the old saying goes, ‘If I am not for me who will be for me?’ Your interest is no less important than another’s. You have the power to create conditions as you desire them to be; why not use it? Health and energy are excellent right now. You can enhance it even further by giving more attention to the head, face and adrenal glands until the 17th, and to the neck and throat afterwards. Head and face massage and craniosacral therapy are powerful until the 17th. Neck massage is powerful afterwards. Those of you on the spiritual path will benefit from mantra chanting this month. Spiritual healing in general is powerful until the 17th.
Finances look good this month. Your financial planet Mercury is moving forward, so you have good financial clarity and judgement. Until March 13 you still have the financial favour and support of bosses, elders, parents and the authority figures in your life. If pay rises haven’t happened yet, they can still occur until that date. Your good professional reputation is a major factor in your earning power until the 13th (as it has been for the past few months). Guard that reputation. After the 13th Mercury enters Pisces, your 11th house. This indicates an excellent financial intuition, but you must trust it and follow it. Don’t ignore your dreams or messages from psychics, astrologers and spiritual channels. They have important financial guidance for you.
There is a solar eclipse on the 20th that happens right on the cusp of your 11th and 12th houses. It is basically benign to you and will tend to impact more on friends and family. It won’t hurt to reduce your schedule during this period though, and family members should do so too. If there are flaws in the home, an eclipse period is when you find out about them and can make the necessary corrections. Family members will be more temperamental at this time, so be more patient with them. There are shake-ups in a spiritual organization that you are involved with. There are changes in your spiritual practice and attitudes too – generally these are brought about through some kind of crisis or disturbance.

Though a lunar eclipse on the 4th creates some excitement and disturbance, the month ahead looks happy and successful. The eclipse will just add a little drama to the mix. It will keep things from getting too dull. Venus, the ruler of your Horoscope, has been in your sign since March 17. Mars will be in your sign all month. You look good. You have a good sense of style. There is plenty of energy and charisma this month.
The month ahead looks very prosperous – always important for a Taurus. Mercury, your financial planet, crosses the Ascendant and moves into your 1st house on the 14th. With Venus in your sign until the 11th job opportunities are seeking you out (as has been the case since March 17). This could be the reason for the job changes. If you employ others, this eclipse brings employee turnover and instability with the workforce. Often there are dramas in the lives of your employees that cause these things.
This eclipse impacts on Pluto and Uranus. Thus there are career changes happening – and they look happy. There could be dramas – life-changing events – in the lives of bosses or with the leaders of your profession or industry. The square to Pluto shows the testing of love and partnerships. Be more patient with the beloved this period as he or she will tend to be more irritable and highly strung.
In spite of the eclipse the love life is wonderful these days. Venus has been making nice aspects to your love planet Pluto since March 17. And Venus and Mars in your own sign make you attractive to the opposite sex. Love challenges should be resolved in a good way.
On the 20th the Sun moves into your sign and you enter one of your yearly personal pleasure peaks. This is when the body gets pampered. New clothing or some nice personal accessories come to you this month. It’s a very good period for getting your body and image in shape, the way you want it to be. Last month there was a planetary shift. The planetary power moved to the lower half of the Horoscope. The lower half, the subjective half of the Horoscope will be strong for the next five months or so. This represents a psychological shift for you. It is now time to de-emphasize your career and focus more on the home, family and your emotional well-being. It is time to regroup and get ready for the next career push in five months time.
Career is still important in this period, but when the planets are the way they are it is best to pursue your career goals by interior methods – through controlled visualization, meditation and prayer. Feel where you want to be in your career. Imagine this state vividly. And then let go and let your inner consciousness get to work on it. Repeat as necessary. When you work this way you imitate nature, which does the exact same things. In the winter she imagines what she will manifest in the spring. When spring comes, she leaps into overt action.
The planetary momentum is still mostly forward this month. This was the case last month too. Since many of you are having your birthday this month you are in an excellent time to start new projects or launch new products into the world. Both the universal and personal solar cycles are waxing now. Early in the month is best to start things – until the 4th. The Moon will also be waxing during that period. After the 14th retrograde activity increases – Mercury starts to retrograde – and thus it is a less favourable time for these things.
When the Sun and Mercury entered your sign last month you entered a multi-month cycle of prosperity. This month prosperity is even stronger than last month. On the 21st you begin a yearly financial peak. Your money house is very powerful this month – half the planets (and they are mostly benevolent ones) are either in your money house or moving through there. This is a lot of financial power. Earnings should soar now.
There is only one financial weakness seen here, and this will begin on the 14th when your financial planet, Mercury, starts its retrograde motion. You are still going to prosper, but perhaps more slowly than expected. There will tend to be glitches and delays. As we mentioned when we discussed the last Mercury retrograde, it is important that your financial transactions be as perfect as possible. This will prevent some delays. It probably won’t stop all of them but it will minimize them. You probably won’t be able to avoid important financial decisions or major purchases either – there is too much going on here – but you can do more homework on these things.
