The Deceased speak out

heart had been as cold as stone, and so she also experienced coldness in the spiritual world. But the angel was now ready to lead her out of this tribulation and bring her to that place where she could meet those whom she had rejected in earth life and who had preceded her into the spiritual world. She could now see that they were doing much better than she. They lived in a beautiful place compared to their own and they were more beautifully dressed. They all came up to her and welcomed her, but for her it was a humiliation to have to experience that those people who had been so simple in their former lives were much, much better off than she, who had been so proud and rich. These beings were now far above her, and the worst thing for her was that she was destined to be a servant of the very person she had humiliated most in her former life.

The soul of Elfriede was still so headstrong and proud that she refused to take on this service. She still had all the traits she had possessed on earth. So the world of God had no other choice but to separate this haughty sister in order to give her the opportunity to reflect on her life on earth. So they led her into a wasteland, into a desert. No one was near her and there was nothing around her that could distract or even delight her. The angel spoke to her:

"In your world, you were considered a rich woman. Thou possessed a great house and numerous servants. But tell me, what good was this wealth to you? What profit do you have today in eternity? Your piety was only pretended, you were selfish and humiliated your fellow men wherever you could. Now you are given the opportunity to reflect on the past, to ask God for forgiveness and to think about how you could make amends for your transgressions.

In this way this sister was given the opportunity to change her thinking and to orientate herself towards God. This took a very, very long time. But I do not want to go into this further, for I have often explained similar things to you. With this case study I only want to express how a person can be punished who fails to do good that he could have done and that could have been expected of him. A person who fails to do such good things burdens himself in his soul.

When human souls refer to it that they have kept earthly laws, this does not mean that they have not violated spiritual laws in their lives. The spirit world of God decides on this and it also determines the necessary atonement. So, for example, a person can burden himself as a human being through a wicked tongue, to put it in your way of speaking. A wicked tongue need not bring you into conflict with the earthly law, but it certainly brings you into conflict with the spiritual law. Everything therefore depends on how you behave towards your fellow men. It easily happens then that one crosses over into eternity in the firm opinion that he has lived properly and now to his greatest astonishment suddenly has to hear that this or that is blamed on him as a mistake that he has to make good. Such experiences on returning home even cause some people to become mentally restless.

One had been of the opinion that it was enough in life to believe in God and to do good now and then. The world of God alone decides what can be expected of a person. So it is certainly advisable for the upwardly striving spiritual man to consider, in everything he says and does, whether he is not violating any spiritual law. For one cannot so easily enter into heavenly bliss; one must truly earn it on this earth.

      6.Case study

You cannot really believe in a righteousness of God when you see all the suffering and injustice that has been and still is going on in this world, and you ask yourself why he does not intervene. But where should he not intervene everywhere, and besides everybody has his free will, and life is also a test. The saying: God's mills grind slowly but very finely, that is always true. This can be clearly seen in the following case study, which has been passed on through the media:

Spirit of God: It was a soul, named Karin, who had returned home to eternity, and she was amazed at the beautiful world she encountered, and she was also amazed at the welcome she received, because this new world was only bliss for her, after she had left behind a dark world on which she had to endure a hard life. She had to endure many humiliations. And now, in this new world, everything was so light, so beautiful and wonderful. The angels of God, who had approached her, brought her robes, which they said she had woven herself in her human life through her love, sacrifice, forbearance, peaceableness and understanding. So she had woven for herself these beautiful spiritual robes. Now they remained her property and according to her desire she was allowed to put on this festive garment and then another one as she pleased. And she was told

"You will not have to take up work for some time, unlike so many others who return home from life on earth, but you shall now truly first look around in this bliss and enjoy these beauties. Yes, it was a great joy for them, but at the same time a great surprise.

Yes, she had to miss much in life, but despite her human misery she kept her piety, trustingly put her fate in God's hands and hoped that the divine world would see it and show understanding and mercy for her. Well, for all her tolerance she was richly rewarded, and the humiliations brought forth in her garment beautiful, noble stones of great value.

And an angel of God said to her:

"Now get comfortable as you like in this new world. But we will also take you back several times to the house where you lived, because you should see what is going on there now. We will also inform you of your mistress' return in human life when the time comes."

And so it happened. Now and then the angel led her back to the house of her former mistress, who had become seriously ill, and she heard from the mouth of the divine being that she too would have to cross the threshold of the hereafter in the not too distant future, and she was to be present to greet her.

When the time had come, an angel brought the news of the imminent return of her former mistress Doris. The angel took her back into the house where she was dying, and there she could see how the spirit was released from the body of the dying person and how the silver cord that bound it was cut. When this separation was completed, she stood there, the former mistress. Doris was a little dazed, looking around uncertainly and marvelling at everything new. Surprised she looked at her former servant and was amazed at her beautiful appearance, for she had decorated herself especially for the reception. The returning woman did not yet know what had happened to her. In her dazed state she touched her spiritual body and found that she was now standing in the clothes of her former servant, and she immediately expressed her indignation. But the angel who stood by her side said the same to her:

"You left your earthly body on the earth, but what is immortal in you is risen, and we have wrapped you in the garment that you have woven for yourself all the days of your life. She was a bit astonished at the words she did not yet understand and at the same time disappointed she looked at herself again as best she could. Then she desperately called her former servant by name. Helplessly she stood there first, but soon she became energetic. Looking at her servant she thought that she had stolen her beautiful clothes and now she ruled over her:

"It is my robe you are wearing."

She made a somewhat clumsy movement, as if she wanted to tear the dress of her former servant from her spiritual body. But the angel stood between them and spoke:

"You are indeed wearing the robe that is yours, and that you have woven for yourself in life."

She had to wear the same shoes as the mended and threadbare clothes of the servant that she gave her in life. One time the shoes were too small, so her feet hurt, and another time they were too big. Now the angel had to talk seriously with the former mistress and had to tell her

"Tolerant was this being, and pointed to her servant, and in spite of all humiliation she kept her pious heart. She earned heaven for herself.

But you humiliated, tortured and beat Karin. You have done a lot of wrong to her and to others. The dress you're wearing now will look good on you. Because out of your own vices you have woven it yourself."

The wretched woman listened in indignation. Then she picked out from her memory what good she had done. ...but whatever she said, it was of no consequence.

Whatever good she had done, she had only done to be seen, and everyone should know to whom she once did good.

      "Therefore,"
