Adana said, “Sure will. Here are the papers.”

Skunk said, “I’ll take the papers to my lawyer, and we’ll send you over the check if everything looks good.”

Adana said, “So, What’s up with you? You look tense as always.”

Skunk said, “I need some sleep…I’ve been running around all morning.”

Adana said, “Okay, Skunk. Here are the keys. I trust that everything is as said. How’s Tara doing?”

He didn’t do too many questions, but he’s been knowing Adana and her little sister Anema since second grade. Their mother moved next door to his mother’s when they were kids, and they’ve been friends ever since.

Anema dated Merch in middle school and high school then moved to Minnesota where she attended college.

Skunk said, “She’s around. How’s your family? I mean, your fiancé.”

Adana said, “You’re still the same, barely talking. You know my mother stays at your mom’s house, gossiping. They want us together so bad.”

Skunk said, “I know they talk about everybody. I’ll talk to you later about all that being together. I have a meeting in a few hours, so I’ll call you later.”

      Adana said, “Skunk always running.”

Skunk said, “Running from what, Adana? Acting like I don’t hear questions when being asked.”

Adana said, “Shits, embarrassing! I just moved my business back home to start all over.”

Skunk said, “You just smoothly went around that question, again. Huh?”

Adana said, “We’ve divorced already, split up, or whatever you call it. He had a baby with someone else and got married, I heard.”

Skunk said, “Damn! He cheated and married on your ass. He’s a beast.”

Adana said, “He can beast and leave me alone. I left him with his happy little family. How’s Tara doing, besides being around?”

Skunk said, “You can ask her! I’m not her personal therapist. Ask her assistant.”

Skunk knew she knew what she was doing, licking her lips all slow, asking about another chick trying to throw him off. Her juicy ass lips were tempting, but that made him look over the papers to see if she was trying to sneak something different on a line or two.

Then she wore the blouse with her boobs all out with the blazer all tight, pushing them up. She saw Skunk glancing at her boobs that her ex-husband purchased, but it wasn’t enough to keep him.

“Let me show you who’s the beast,” Adana said as she squatted down in front of Skunk. She unzipped his pants while giving him eye contact while pulling his dick out. When she sucked the tip, he jumped back really quick, amazed at her wet grip.

Her face was down in the back seat of her truck with her ass up, and he was banging the shit out of her in the doggy style. She was moaning so loud that he thought he was hurting her. “Skunk? Skunk? Skunk?” Adana shouted. She grabbed his shirt to get his attention, but he wasn’t budging.

Adana said, “Skunk, you are always getting quiet when we talk. If you don’t want to talk to me, fine. Skunk.

Skunk said, “Shit! My mind was somewhere else for a minute. My bad, Adana. Get your fine ass out of here. I’ll call you later.”

Adana said, “Are you okay? It looks like you were in a trance again. You’re always drifting off when we’re together.”

Skunk said, “I’m good. Just thinking about this meeting.”

Adana said, “You should see a doctor. You might be experiencing blackouts.”

Skunk said, “Adana, I see the doctor on a regular. It’s no blackouts. I’m good!”

She hugged him and kissed his cheek and left. Adana knew damn well she made him feel some way, and she loved it. He watched her until she pulled off, then went on about his business.

He walked around the building looking around until he found some file cabinets, and that took his mind off Adana’s fat ass.

He waited for Tee and his crew to come back and help clear out all the rubbish. They took so long, he started opening the files and reading them. Before they arrived, he found the key taped to the top of the cabinet in the inside, so he locked them up.

Tee said, “This a nice find, fam. What do you want me to do with all these file cabinets and furniture?”

Skunk said, “Take it to your warehouse. This building has been empty for a while. The previous owner passed away and didn’t have any family.”

Tee said, “That’s fucked up, fam. Some of these items are antiques. Look at this!”

Skunk said, “I’ll pay an antique expert to see what we found. I don’t know what the fuck I’m looking at, fam.”

Tee said, “When do you want me to start knocking walls down?”

Skunk said, “Hold on, fam, let me see first. We can go through the cabinets at your warehouse first. Look at these files, fam. This man had money everywhere. I need my lawyer to look at all the files in these cabinets.”

When he finished, he went over to his mother’s house to eat and meet up with his brothers, and they gathered around the big table talking, and no phones or electronics were allowed.

Marsha said, “I’m pleased with the business profit. I know your father is going to be pleased.”

Jean said, “Pass me the wine, please. Where are your brothers’?”

Merch said, “On the porch using their phone before coming in.”

Marsha said, “Well, let’s eat. When am I going to be a grandmother?”

Jean said, “Long as…it’s not by none of them stripper girls.”

      Marsha said, “Amen to that.”

Skunk said, “I’m not having kids until I’m married.”

      Jean said, “Hey, son!”

      Marsha said, “Hello, son!”

Ishmael said, “Hi, Mothers. Isaiah had to go meet up with his coach. He’ll be right back.”

      Skunk said, “Mom want grandkids.”

Ishmael said, “I’m not ready for all that.”

Merch said, “I’ll give you some when I find some wives. I meant wife.”

      Skunk said, “Look at this.”

Marsha said, “Who is that for?”

Jean said, “Seriously. Who? That ex-stripper girl?”

Ishmael said, “He about to get beat by both moms.”

Marsha said, “I didn’t hear or see anything funny.”

Jean said, “No! Merch about to get beat. He keeps trying to sneak diss.”

Merch said, “What I do? Mama Jean, I wouldn’t dare sneak diss.”

Merch chuckled because he knew his brother loved Tara. She was one of the good girls just trying to fit in and make a quick dollar. He also knew his mothers weren’t going for no ex-stripper.

Merch saw the look in Jean’s eyes when he said “wives,” so he knew to shut the fuck up.

      Skunk said, “Never mind.”

When everyone finished supper, they went about their way in the house, packing for their mother’s move.
