Именем маршала авиации Семена Федоровича Жаворонкова названо Выборгское авиационно-техническое училище гражданской авиации (ВАТУ ГА), памятник-бюст установлен на его малой Родине в г. Вичуга Ивановской области, а в г. Иваново установлена мемориальная доска, его имя носят улицы в городах Иваново и Вичуге.
