Your smartphone probably accompanies you most of the time, whether during the day, evening, or weekend. The Quiet Hours feature is available in the iOS and Android apps to help you keep a strict work-life balance by turning off Teams notifications outside of certain times that you specify. This option is not available on your desktop app, but you can quit the Teams app or set your status to Do not disturb.

Once you enable an option, you can further specify the times and days by tapping them.

Is my list of priority access people able to circumvent Quiet Hours?
No, they are not able to circumvent your Quiet Hours by writing you a message or @mentioning you. But it’s important to know that Teams calls will come through even during Quiet Hours!

The Files App
Although you can access your files directly where they live in Teams—like through a channel’s Files tab, a private chat’s Files tab, or a meeting’s Files tab—Teams offers a central location for all your Teams and OneDrive files, making it a bit easier to find files without having to dive down deep into multiple folders to open what you’re looking for. It’s called the Files app.
